Alexandru M. Morega (PhD) is professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Department of Bioengineering & Biotechnology, Faculty of Medical Engineering at the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania. He is Corresponding Member of the Romanian Academy and Member of the Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences.
His research interests end expertise include electromagnetism, heat and mass transfer, field-substance interactions, engineering in medicine and biology applications, energy conversion and sources, structural optimization, multiphysics modeling.

Mihail Popescu is a professor of biomedical informatics at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He received a MS in Medical Physics in 1995, a MS in Electrical Engineering in 1997 and a PhD in Computer Science in 2003 from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. Dr. Popescu has published over 200 scientific papers. His research focus has been on elder care technologies, medical decision making, and machine learning. Dr. Popescu is a senior IEEE member.
