Known as "the Sistine Chapel of the East", due to its splendid painted frescoes, VoroneČ› is the most famous Romanian monastery as UNESCO World Heritage. Was built by the famous prince (king) Stephen the Great in 1488 over a period of 3 months and 3 weeks to commemorate the victory at Battle of Vaslui against Turkish Empire.

Humor was one of the first of Moldavia's painted monasteries to be frescoed (16-th century) and, along with VoroneČ›, is probably the best preserved. The church has been inscribed by UNESCO on its list of World Heritage Sites.

In the heart of Bukovina we are waiting for you to discover the most numerous and varied collection of eggs from Romania and one of the most important ones in Europe.
The Egg Museum from Vama is an original museum having over 3,000 eggs from all over the world, using different techniques and different supports: egg-shell, wood, ceramics, porcelain, stone, glass. The international artist Letitia Orsivschi collected them all at the exhibitions she participated to in the last 14 years.
